Looking for something special to do while in Jordan?
There is currently a wide range of activities catering to all ages and interests. These are some of our recommendations.
Please contact us if you have any ideas that you may wish us to cater to and we will organise them for you.
Wadi Al Mujeb Natural reserve
This reserve lies adjacent to the Dead Sea, and is one of Jordan's most exciting natural sites. It contains a narrow canyon, reminiscent of Petra's Siq through which a river flows. Across thousands of years, the water has formed several large caves and waterfalls inside the canyon. The trip requires the participants to swim, walk and climb through occasional rushing water! Anyone who's in search of adventure is strongly advised to do it.
Camel rides in Wadi Rum and Petra
Several routes are available for rides of different lengths at Wadi Rum and Petra. Details are available upon request.
Aqaba marine life
Red Sea Diving is the most catered for sport in the Red Sea Resort City of Aqaba. The coral reefs there offer some of the best-kept tropical underwater Eco systems in the world. Beginner and advanced courses with experienced diving instructors and equipment rental facilities are available. Non-divers can experience first class snorkelling at several sites. The water in Aqaba is warm during the summer and spring seasons. Please take into account that you are not allowed to fly for 24 hours after your dive, for safety reasons.
Sport activities in Jordan
Flights and courses are available near Amman, and at special sites all over the country. Tuition is available by professionals. Further information is available upon request.
Hiking in Dana Nature reserve
Dana is truly a world of natural treasures containing a wealth of natural scenery, ancient ruins and large number of flora and fauna, some only indigenous to the area. The Dana reserve is a system of wadis and rugged mountains, which extend from the top of the Jordan Rift Valley down to the desert lowland of Wadi Araba. The reserve is managed by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, with the aid of the World Bank. The Dana village is great example of a timeless and traditional Jordanian village, it contains visitors centre selling organically grown produce from the village terrace gardens, silver jewelery and pottery produced by the women of the village. The reserve contains the Rummana and Feinan campsites and the village guesthouse. Dana offers a selection of trails to key points of interest for both the casual and adventurous hiker. The Rummanah camp at the top of Dana is situaded at a height of 1400 meters a.s.l. is open from April to October, the Dana guest house and Feinan camp (situaded at sea level) are open year round.
Paintball in Jordan
The Mountain Breeze Country Club is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the hills of Gilead. It offers a myriad of outdoor activities and camping facilities.
Parachuting and Skydiving in Jordan
Nothing beats a parachute jump for sheer excitement. All you need is a 4 hours' training session at the USPA (United States Parachute association) affiliated Royal Parachute Club to make a static line jump from an altitude of 4000 feet. Advanced free fall jumps can be organised for qualified parachutists holding valid certification. The club is located in Aqaba.
Turkish bath
Experience a soothing massage at an authentic Turkish bath located in the old middle class residential area in Amman.
the Roman Army Experience
Come watch the Jerash Hippodrome come alive with this amazing show featuring gladiators, carts and massive catapults.
 Attractions MUST see in Amman

With 7,000 years of recorded history, Amman is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It was originally built on 7 hills, which today help define the city's various neighborhoods. At every corner you'll find something to explore. Here are 5 activities to get you started.

There are other places to see but those are a MUST.

Lets Get Started :

1. Jabal Amman & Rainbow Street :

One of the most popular neighborhoods is the historic Jabal Amman area near the center of downtown. It's filled with art galleries, cafes and other interesting hangouts. Wandering through this area, you can glimpse historic homes, visit an outdoor market hosted by the Jabal Amman Residents Association (JARA) or grab a snack at local eateries like the Abu Ghosh bakery (where bread is made daily in a red brick oven) or Hashem (a falafel cafe which Lonely Planet points out "has a picture of King Hussein dining here on its wall, if you need any further recommendation").
Jabal Amman's cobblestone-covered Rainbow Street in particular is a must-visit. Less than a mile long, it sits atop one of the city's seven hills and offers spectacular views of the Old City. Cafes, art galleries, trendy eateries and shisha bars line the street, along with the former homes of Jordan's old aristocratic families. It has become in recent years, "one of Amman's busiest spots on a Thursday night."

2. Abdoun :

The adjacent neighbourhoods of Abdoun is a center for nightlife in Amman. Although its star as the most hip part of the city dimmed a bit after the 90's, the area is enjoying a comeback as a popular spot among Amman's youth. Travelers and locals alike visit the neighborhood for its nightclubs, hip restaurants and cafes.

3. The Roman Amphitheater :

The ancient Roman Amphitheater was built under Emperor Antoninus Pius (138-161 AD), when the city was known as Philadelphia. Cut into the steep hillside, the theater provided seating for 6,000 spectators. It was built facing north, to keep the sun off the seated crowds. Unlike the Roman ruins say in Rome, visitors are able to climb the structure. In fact the site is still in use for cultural and sporting events.

Thank you.
